Web Design & Animation

The field of web design was new when I first started designing sites in 1995 (before Lynda published a web-safe palette). I began by learning some basic html code and how to ftp my files. There were lots of restrictions and it was hard to design for a medium that required very small file sizes and limited graphic use.

Most of my work since that time, has been designing and developing web sites. For the past 6 years or so, I've been wearing many hats. In addition to design, I have been directly involved in content management, information architecture, user interaction, and strategy of web site projects.

Currently most of my work is for Dell.com. I have been primarily tasked with developing wireframes, user flows, site maps and scenarios. On occasion I do some visual design work as well.
